The festival gallery is always something to be seen, but this year’s is the most exciting to date.
The exhibition includes an eclectic mix of some of the best and, in the case of the Falmouth graduates, the newest, contemporary art produced in Cornwall. Included amongst the artists are a number of members of the Newlyn Society of Artists. Many have exhibited nationally and internationally as well as having work purchased by public art collections.
Inspiration for the work ranges from the political to the environmental, most directly or indirectly affected by living in Cornwall.
On Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th October some of the artists will be giving free talks about their work and there will be tours of the exhibition for those who wish to have a more detailed insight to the artists and their work. Please call 01326 211522 for details.
